I’ve been binging the Podcast The Rest Is Classified from Goalhanger a network with a bunch of interesting shows. It’s UK-centric which is a nice since a lot of the big networks are US-based.
The latest series is about a KGB officer who is spying for the British MI6 during the waning years of the Cold War.
What I like most about it is the hosts David McCloskey and Gordon Corera do the show as a conversation and it’s not an over the top production.
McCloskey is a former CIA analyst turned spy novelist and Corera is a security corespondent. Their banter makes the hour-long shows really fun to listen to.

This is the description of the show:
“Enter the secretive world of spies, espionage, and covert operations.
“Hosted by former CIA analyst turned spy novelist, David McCloskey, and veteran security correspondent, Gordon Corera, this podcast unravels real-life spy stories, intelligence secrets, and the hidden power struggles shaping global events.
“From Cold War espionage to modern-day intelligence agencies like the CIA, MI6, and Mossad, explore the world of double agents, classified missions, and the shadowy figures who operate in them. Whether you’re a true crime addict, a thriller fan, or fascinated by spy stories, this is the show for you.”
What’s there not to like?
