I’m reading Karen Hao’s book Empire of AI thanks to the interview the crew at TWiT’s Intelligent Machines podcast did with her this week.

It’s really good so far. But the founding of OpenAI has been highlighted in a number of AI books including AI Valley by Gary Rivlin. This being said, Hao’s book takes a different approach it seems and focuses on OpenAI, where as Rivlin’s book looks at the AI industrial complex as a whole. Also Rivlin follows Reed Hoffman’s journey throughout his book. Which is a nice touch.

I’ll report back when I’m done Hao’s book.
