Tomorrow I’m off on the “big” vacation for this summer. Well 4 days. Not exactly long, but still.

Last year me, my wife, and kiddo went to Niagara Falls both NY and Canada. This year we’re going to an island in the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. It’s a much shorter drive, that’s for sure.

It’ll be good to get away, I think. I’m hoping to actually get this book I’m reading done.

We’ll see if that’s possible.

What’s great is that we’re bringing the dog with us. Olive doesn’t have to stay behind. So that should be interesting. It’ll be great to have her there, but getting her 3 hrs anywhere in a car hasn’t been done. And without Dramamine she gets car sick. So hopefully she won’t get sick with it in her.

Here’s hoping all goes smoothly.
